RUST CLEAN will gently clean and restore your original part without damage. Factory part numbers and paint markings will stand out fresh as the day they were made.
Examples of car parts that can be cleaned and de-rusted with RUST CLEAN include most engine and drive line parts, brake drums, rotors, master cylinders, trim parts, wheels, and sheet metal. Small trim parts can be dipped in one gallon size. The 5 gallon size will handle most medium size parts. Larger parts, such as engine blocks can be done in a 55 gallon barrel or large tank.
RUST CLEAN can also be pumped to provide a continuous wetting action and recaptured in a catch tank. This is useful on sheet metal and undersides of vehicles. Use a small aquarium type pump to direct the solution over the areas to be de-rusted.
RUST CLEAN also makes a tremendous cooling system cleaner for old vehicles having severe buildup. Flush all antifreeze from system, and replace with appropriate amount of RUST CLEAN. The engine heat will speed the process. Run engine car with heater on for 2-6 hours, then drain and flush all RUST CLEAN. Refill system with antifreeze/water mixture. You may filter out the used solution and use it over and over again!
