Industrial users processing parts generally set up larger tanks to provide for size of products being immersed. These tanks can be plastic, steel, or stainless steel and are sized based on product size requirements. The tank is filled to approximately 60% volume with RUST CLEAN to allow for displacement once filled with parts.

For production work, RUST CLEAN can be heated up to 120 degrees Fahrenheit to speed up cycle times. Light flash rust on new steel can be removed in as little at 15 minutes with longer time required for heavier rust. Small parts can be efficiently dipped in baskets allowing secondary products being returned to prime condition.

After de-rusting parts are rinsed with water and then warm air dried. Parts may then head to secondary operations such as prime & paint, powder coating, galvanizing, or other finishes. Or parts may be sealed with a rust preventative until ready for secondary operations. Dipping rinsed parts back in RUST CLEAN and allowing to dry will provide short term rust protection.
