Restore Vintage Toys & Signs
RUST CLEAN is a wonderful product for cleaning and restoring old vintage toys and signs. From cast iron to pressed steel, this solution will amaze you. Many of these vintage items have greater value if original paint is left on them. Items can be dipped in RUST CLEAN for a short time, removed, and then rinsed with water. Firmly attached paint remains, but years of grime and rust are removed. The toy does not needs disassembly, all wood, rubber, and plastic components will be safely cleaned as well.
For more severe corrosion damage (like the retractable roof car shown below), the toy is left in for much longer time. It is removed occasionally and brushed with a soft brass brush to remove layers of rust and old paint. The end result is the original metal, ready for repair & repaint.
